About Me

Hi my name is Pierre, my friends call me Rocky because  I boxed in Jr. Golden Gloves when I was younger.

I would like to share a little bit about myself and what lead me to develop this site.

I was employed by Boeing as Fuel Management Technician, and was injured on the job after falling fifteen feet to a concrete surface. I was out of work for two and a half years in treatment, being unable to perform my previous  duties, I decide to go back to school and retrain. I chose Computer Technology and became a Systems Engineer for an IBM business partner, receive a lot of training from IBM. I then started teaching night classes, leading to a full time position with a Technical Community College, which led me to pursue my Masters Degree in Education Technology.

I have been living with chronic pain for over 30 years. My doctors were treating me conservatively, you know traction, pain medications, steroid injections, anti-inflammatory pills and the such. All of which lead to bleeding ulcers. After all these years  I finally opted for spinal fusion of three vertebrae and still no relief. I turned to research and alternative methods to find relief and I’d like to share what  I have learned.

My Mission
To provide information related to relieving all types of pain. I believe that a well-informed person has the ability to take charge of their pain rather than having pain control their life.

My Goal
There are  more than 150 million people suffering with chronic pain. With our modern scientific mainstream medicine, why are there so many people suffering? Despite their arsenal of elaborate, costly hi-tech medical procedures, and diagnostic equipment available doctors still cannot diagnose or stop this growing national chronic pain epidemic.

I intend to provide information and resources for those in chronic pain by introducing a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of chronic pain. This includes empowering the person by providing knowledge of pain medications and alternative therapies in the fight against pain. Some of which may be specific exercises, natural medicines, supplements, nutrition and diet, eliminating toxins to balance the body and relief pain.
